Inauguration Ceremony for “The Way of Life Competition” and Book Launch
We are thrilled to share the highlights of the inspiring inauguration ceremony for “The Way of Life Competition,” an event that celebrated the launch of the book The Way of Life. This remarkable book covers Aqeedah & Spirituality, Seerah and stories of Prophets, and the Seerah of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Event Highlights:
The ceremony commenced with a beautiful Quran recitation by Tamim Sadat.
Following this, Zahid Bashir provided an insightful introduction to the event, warmly welcoming all attendees.
Zafar Hassan Bashar, the lead organizer of this competition, delivered a heartfelt welcome message, expressing his gratitude for the overwhelming support and participation.
Ustadh Waheedullah Obaidi then gave a moving speech on behalf of the book’s author, Ustadh Rasool Khan, highlighting the immense hard work and dedication that went into writing the book and the efforts of the brothers who translated it into Dari and English.
The renowned writer and journalist, Nazeer Basharat, spoke about the significance and necessity of such a book and competition within the Muslim community in the UK. He emphasized how it can foster greater understanding and spiritual growth.
Following Nazeer Basharat’s speech, Tarique Siraj introduced the competition, outlining its objectives and the ways in which participants can get involved. This was followed by a short workshop for the audience, offering practical advice on how to engage the community in this competition, foster a culture of reading, and other suggestions to ensure the competition’s success.
The event concluded with a heartfelt speech and Dua by Sheikh Hassan Khatibzada, invoking blessings and guidance for all participants.
